David Stephenson first found his passion for fitness when he joined the armed forces in 1996. Due to the intensity of physical fitness in the army, David had no choice but to love it, hurt, agony and pain every day. So who better to work with. When David left the army in 2001, he was at his physical peak and so decided to pass on his experience to the people that needed it. In 2002 David completed his Diploma in Fitness & Nutrition and gained employment working for his local health club. Keen to further his career, David gained further qualifications by completing REP's Level 2 and REP's Level 3 in Advanced Personal Training and completed the Boxercise Personal Trainer Award. In 2006 David established newbodyfitness and the company has gone from strength to strength. In 2007 David also established newbodyfitness Boxing Academy & Promotions.

Specialised Skills

" As a Boxercise Personal Trainer, I always try to incorporate boxing type drills into my personal training sessions. From experience, I have found that no matter what age or fitness level my clients are, they enjoy this type of  training as it gives them the opportunity to focus the mind and relieve stress, however if you are not a boxing fan then training can be adapted accordingly. I also specialise in weight management, cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, core conditioning and flexibility ".
